Hello crafty friends!
Let me tell you a story about one of my most favorite stamp sets ever: it’s big enough for a background, it’s totally customizable, and it’s super easy and fun to do. Any guesses?
Well I know I’m a little late to the Concord & 9th Bloom’s Fill In party, but Oh-Em-Gee this set is the best. I can see this one being versatile for years and you can literally make ANY color combo and it looks amazing.
For example:

Beauty right?
I made a few cards with these awesome backgrounds – which just involves placing your flowers inside the background solid image. So easy! In fact I made a lot more backgrounds because they’re addicting, but haven’t made cards from them yet. Here they are!
This one I simply made the background, then die cut a small square out of the panel and a slightly larger one from white cardstock. I used the same Hero Arts Soft Cantaloupe ink as the flowers to color the white square to match. I layered it all up on green cardstock, and added a sentiment!
Sorry for the bad lighting on this one. I wasn’t sure I was going to share it, but hey, why not? I used a few Colorbox dye inks in purple and mint to create a gradient effect. I then attached the panel to a card base and added a sheet of clear acetate with a Stamp Market sentiment in Staz-On black ink (it was my first Staz-On experience and I’m not thrilled with it yet… must practice!). I attached the acetate with some pink washi tape to match.
Who doesn’t love a classic black and red combo? This one is so elegant. I used Ranger Archival ink in Red Geranium for the base, then various greys and pinks from Altenew for the flowers. I used the coordinating die to cut the hexagonal piece from black, and silver embossed the sentiment from the set. Then I added some sparkle with my Wink of Stella shimmer pen.
This one uses Distress Oxide in Fossilized Amber for the background and Altenew greys for the flowers. I also die cut one of the flowers out and used Versamark on the whole piece as well as the flowers and heat embossed with Hero Arts Pearl Powder for some texture and shine. Then I added some foam tape behind the center of the die cut piece and some regular flat adhesive on the edges, and re-attached it so it was a bit puffy, but not too dimensional. The sentiment is from the My Favorite Things Handwritten Happiness set.
Wow that’s a lot of cards in one post! But it’s so much fun to use this set, and so hard not to show it off. Everything you do with it turns out stunning! And the stamp and die set on it’s own needs very little work to make an awesome and easy card.
